Xi’an, china, OCT 21, 2010 – Peter Zhong, CEO of JavaLines, an innovated smart card system provider, has visited in Xi’an on Oct. 21 and talked to Beyondsoft Mobile Business Unit (BU), a division of BeyondSoft Group specializing in providing offshore mobile application development services on Smartphone platforms. The two sides have exchanged information about the partnership to jointly develop mobile applications on various Smartphone platforms, e.g. Android, iPhone, and Symbian, etc.

Peter Zhong, CEO of JavaLines (the 3rd counts from the right hand)

As an industry pioneer in providing global software services on Smartphone platforms, including iPhone, iPad, Android, Blackberry, Windows Mobile and others, BeyondSoft is ready to step into the smartcard space. JavaLines is capable of offering the operating systems and Virtual Machine expertise in developing compatible Java Card™ solutions and making quick entry to the emerging Java Card™ marketplace.
“BeyondSoft has competitive advantages,” said Gaius Wang, Sr. Training Manager of Beyondsoft Mobile BU, “We have skilled & professional team with average 10 years’ mobile domain experience, customized technology & porting services, and upfront quality standard & procedures.” “We will help JavaLines to extend their business in mobile application field.”

September 29, 2010, Beijing, China – BeyondSoft began its first series of webinars with a practical, business-oriented presentation entitled “How to Engage with Your Customers via Smartphone.” The webinar was aimed at business leaders with a goal to show how to improve consumer acquisition, consumer loyalty and brand awareness by leveraging mobile technology to build an innovative Direct-To-Consumer strategy, and to display BeyondSoft’s ability to help businesses of all kinds to realize their potential to make use of this powerful new tool.

David Cao, Vice President of BeyondSoft Mobile Business Unit broke down the current state of the industry, highlighting the rapid growth (“46% of mobiles will be smart phones by 2013.”) and increasing importance of smartphone use by nearly all industries in the future (“Apps are the core of marketing via smart phone.”). He also offered general advice on creating effective apps (“The best apps are those that offer users a feature or service they need to use frequently or a game that keeps them engaged.”), and offered several successful examples, from Nike’s customized design and Virgin’s calming of passengers afraid of flying to Starbucks’ and Coca-Cola’s product-related games.

James Shen, BeyondSoft’s Mobile Solution Architect, then provided more in-depth accounts of app construction and implementation using five real case studies from previous BeyondSoft projects. Companies ranged from online magazines in China and the US to online communities, displaying functions from location-based services and payment services to social networking.

BeyondSoft also provided live tweets of the webinar’s highlights via its Twitter account, BeyondSoft group.
